A SCROLLING EXPERIENCE
In 2012 Russian Railways celebrated 175 years. We created a site to scroll back through history.
PRODUCTION
We were supplied with a document in Russian describing the key achievements in railway networks across Russia, which had to be rationalised and condensed. Through characterful illustrations and javascript animations, some fairly dry content was brought to life.

The client wanted to get closer to CNN editorial content and sponsored a show called Gateway. Displaying our content witnin an advertisement feature webpage would also support this goal. A quick-nav allowed users to skip down the page.
TRAFFIC DRIVERS
Banner ads and TV commercials were tailored to resonate with the CNN audience and ran across the network. TV producers interviewed the CEO, Mr Yakunin to form the 'talking heads' part of the TVC.An extended version was edited to focus on the future of Russian rail and their support of the impending Sochi Winter Olympics and ran at the foot of the site.
